Our Story
Embroydica is a three part dream. The first one is to make a website that will introduce to people all the different types of
embroidery in one place. In addition to that each type of embroidery will have an extensive amount of information about it
from origin and history to today's use, techniques and materials. And a place that will also have tutorials and classes of how to
achieve the techniques.
The second part of the dream is to create a volunteer program that will connect people who want to volunteer and help to
communities that are underserved. The volunteer program spans all ages, teaching embroidery beyond stitches and offers
knowledge and health benefits.
The last part of Embroydica will be dedicated to children, transforming complex embroidery skills and information into
bite-sized, age-appropriate learning experiences. Making embroidery fun and easy for them to learn.

history, creativity, and limitless possibility. Our online encyclopedia, Embroydeka , will be the indispensable thread
connecting embroidery professionals and lovers of all levels, backgrounds, and styles.

Lilia Filkov
Lilia Filkov is a seasoned embroidery designer with a career spanning high-end fashion, bridal, and evening couture. Beginning her stitching journey in young adulthood, she’s since dedicated herself to elevating embroidery as both an art form and a tool for connection. Lilia leads Embroydica’s vision for craft, care, and cultural preservation.

Roza Goltser is a fashion design graduate with a passion for digital storytelling and cultural preservation. With a background in fashion and photography, she brings a fresh perspective to embroidery. At Embroydica, she leads creative direction and helps shape a platform that’s inclusive, inspiring, and accessible to all.
