Kseniia Guseva
I’m a self-taught embroidery artist with a big passion for architecture, interiors and nature. That led me to create a collection of more than 150 embroidered cities from around the world. Alongside this work, I explore embroidery techniques and experiment with how they can be used in unexpected ways.
Teaching is also an important part of my practice. I create embroidery patterns and tutorials designed to make techniques approachable and easy to replicate while leaving room for experimentation.
My work has led to collaborations with brands and publications including Anchor, DMC, Love embroidery magazine. And I’m currently a mentor for the Hand&Lock Prize for embroidery. When I’m not stitching I’m usually looking around at buildings, plants, flowers and thinking about new techniques I want to try.
