Gaze of the North by Jessica Devin of JDevinEmbroidery. Silk Shading and Free Surface Embroidery.
"Gaze of the North" is a poignant commentary on the polar bear’s plight amid environmental challenges. The stark, solitary gaze of the bear underlines the narrative of isolation and vulnerability faced by these creatures in the harsh, cold climates they inhabit. This piece serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent impact of global warming, inviting viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of nature and humanity’s role within it.
